My Oscar Favorites For 2012...If Movies Were Religious Art

We see a lot of movies. We see a lot of art too. We see religion in both. Looking at the movies as a form of Religious Art, the following is my list of 2012 movies for the so-called "Big Five" Academy Award (Oscar) categories:

• Best Picture: Ben Affleck for "Argo"
• Best Director: Ang Lee for "Life of Pi"
• Best Actor: Daniel Day Lewis in "Lincoln"
• Best Actress: Sally Fields in "Lincoln"
• Best Screenplay: Sergio G. Sánchez (screenplay) and María Belón (story) "The Impossible"
