Turkish Painter Huri Kiris' Figleafed "Adam and Eve"

Adam and Eve
I was searching for a pair of "Adam & Eve" figures by artist Victoria Rose Martin when I tripped across a Turkish painter Huri Kiris. I saw Victoria's figures in an advertisement for the Dixie ArtLoft in American Style Magazine. She's on Facebook and while I'm averse to using Facebook, I did go looking and I couldn't stop wandering through her powerful portraits. Her's are a kind of portraiture that makes you more aware of the connections between physical and spiritual well-being. I wish she was American. I wish she used his Twitter handle (three tweets in November) and that he tweeted in English (she doesn't). I wish she strictly explored religious themes (she doesn't).  I am however glad to have discovered Huri Kiris, and to continue to follow her so that we can discover more together. By the way, I'm still searching for Victoria's "Adam & Eve."
