ALPHA OMEGA ARTS
By Tahlib
Recently, I read an essay by an artist who plans to visit two of the world's oldest trees---to photograph one and to simply see the other. The two trees are in the American southwest: Prometheus (5,000 years old and Methuselah (4,800 years old), and I wondered aloud, "how does one make that kind of decision?" While I loved the idea, I couldn't visualize the decision-making process. That is, not until I saw Michael Paukner's infographic of "The world’s oldest trees". It's the perfect example of the power of "esoteric visualization," and a good book for me to read after my current one. It's a sacred journey, and I'd like to take it too.
